Anita's Poem
"Why Me?"

click picture

Why do you drink mom?
You're not even old enough to drive a car.
But that doesn't stop you
You still walk with me to the bar

Does liquor make you feel good?
Because it makes me feel sick.
Think about that next time you're taking a sip.

What are you thinking about
When you're drinking a beer?
Does it even matter
that I'm right here?

What did I ever do to deserve something like this?
And now MY life's all messed up
For a few moments of YOUR bliss.

To know I'm still inside you
And don't have a voice.
You make me drink with you.
I don't have a choice.
